Elizabeth Line to Open on 24th May 04 May 2022

It has been announced that the Elizabeth Line will finally open on May 24th - starting with the section running between Abbey Wood and Paddington. This is great news for Woolwich and will see much reduced travel times into London. Travel to Canary Wharf will take 7 minutes, to Liverpool Street it will be 14 minutes and Bond Street 21 minutes. Street Feast Comes to Woolwich 07 February 2018

Street Food operator "Street Feast" has opened under the name "Public" in the currently disused covered Woolwich market, making use of the building until it is regenerated in a couple of years time.
